What to do if we forget the CMOS code? Generally speaking, there are four methods to solve this problem out.
1. Input “debug” under DOS commend prompt, and run any commend of the below methods, then you can restart the computer, then the CMOS code can be deleted. There are five commend lines for CMOS code deletion.

2. You also can delete the CMOS code on hardware. Turn on the machine and release the electric power. The specific way is to uninstall the fastener buttery, and install it in reverse; or you can find if there is any wire jumper on the motherboard which can delete CMOS, find it out and insert the wire jumper directly, then the CMOS code can be deleted. Of course, if you have old ISA video card or NIC, you can also insert it in the motherboard, and some kinds of motherboards can get into the BIOS automatically, then what you need to do is only to reset a new code.
3. You can adopt general code to solve the problem, and then reset the startup code, however, not all motherboards can get into BIOS through general code, such as the old machine and the specified designed motherboards can not use this method. Here are some general codes:
The general code of AMI BIOS is : AMI，BIOS，PASSWORD，HEWITT RAND，AMISW，AMI_SW，LKWPETER，A.M.I；The general code of Award BIOS is: AWARD_SW，j262，HLT，SER，SKY_FOX，BIOSTAR，ALFAROME，lkwpeter，j256，AWARD?SW，LKWPPETER，Syxz，aLLy，589589，589721，awkard。(Pay attention to the capitals and small letters.)
4、 Adopt specified software crack
Nowadays, there are many professional cracking software, the usual software are BiosPwds、Cmospwd etc.. Comparing all of them, BiosPwds is an excellent one, it can detect the BIOS version, BIOS updating time, administrator code, COMS code, code type, etc..
However, the process of code crack is to decode the BIOS coding conversely, so it is natural sometimes the program code is different from the real code, therefore, this way may not work out sometimes either.
